HIGHSTREET VERSIONS OF THIS MONTHS FAV CHARITY SHOP LOOKS #1

Yesterday I went to London and had lunch with Anna, one of the lovely ladies from rewardStyle. We talked about lots of things, one of them was how I used to get asked lots of questions on formspring about what to buy on the highstreet and then I would go and find individual outfits for different people, this was back in 2010 of course. It was really fun so I thought maybe I should do something like that again. She also mentioned that I should do 'Shop The Look' type posts which, personally I've always thought of as a bit sell-out-y, but it does make sense in terms of because I wear a lot of vintage and charity shop items, they're all quite individual garments but I could find high street versions to show you all! So I thought that I would put together a post with my top three looks from the past month that have gained the most interest from you guys and show you where you can get my charity shop/ vintage items on the highstreet!

Let me know if this is something you'd like me to do more often, I may even start finding outfits for people on my ask.fm if anyone would be interested in that<3

#1 HOW COME I'M THINKING, YOU'D BE THE LAST TO KNOW

SKIRT:
I bought this at a charity shop in Cornwall last summer!
DOLLS KILL £23.50 - TOPSHOP £34 - DOLLS KILL £40.35 - MISSGUIDED £19.99 - BOOHOO £5 - DOLLS KILL £26.32

CUT OUT SHOULDER CHLOE TOP:
I bought this from a charity shop, I was actually quite shocked to find it there as I bought it in quite a rough area where you wouldn't imagine people would be able to afford Chloe but hey ho!
MISSGUIDED £9.99 - MOTEL £25

#2 EVERYONE KNOWS THAT YOU'RE ONLY PRETTY ON THE OUTSIDE
VINTAGE CROP TOP:
I bought this on ebay for an extravagant £1.50!
VINTAGE MOTEL BRALETS £25

#3 BUILD A LADDER IF THERES A WALL
VELVET TARTAN SHIRT:
I bought this in a charity shop in Birmingham a few months ago. It was really difficult to find something similar on the highstreet but I've found a few different things which have different elements of the shirt!
VELVET TARTAN DUNGAEES ASOS £75 - ASOS £52

WHITE LONG SLEEVED TURTLENECK:
Another charity shop find!
DOLLS KILL £15 - MOTEL £22 - ASOS £12 - TOPSHOP £10

LACE SKIRT:
I got this from a wholesale website but it went out os stock very quickly!
CHICNOVA £16.95 - TOPSHOP £38 - MISSGUIDED £14.99 - PIXIE MARKET £26.98 - ROMWE (MATCHING CROP TOP) £14.03

  1. I do love the idea of these posts. It makes shopping for specific items much simpler than spending hours and hours trawling through the 'tartan skirt' tag on eBay. Question, where is that amazing white backpack from?
